Medical Director

Stephen Moran, M.D. 

Dr. Stephen Moran serves as the medical director at Northshore Rehabilitation Hospital. In this role, Dr. Moran oversees the medical team, fostering an exceptional environment that delivers safe, quality rehabilitation care and services to patients and families with compassion. Board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, he’s passionate about treating patients and provides exemplary care, education and research.

Dr. Moran has been a physician at Northshore Rehabilitation Hospital since 2019. He worked closely with the previous medical director, Dr. Gollamudi Reddy.  Prior to that, he practiced at the Ochsner Rehabilitation Hospital, treating patients for spasticity and musculoskeletal conditions at Ochsner Health Center ― Elmwood. He has also served as adjunct faculty for the Ochsner University of Queensland Medical School since 2017, mentoring and educating future physicians.

Dr. Moran earned his medical degree from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans in 2013. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Texas Health San Antonio in 2017.
